Thermo has developed a Health & Safety and Environment Management System (HSEMS) to demonstrate its commitment within the organization and more importantly to integrate HSE into the business so as to ensure the safety and welfare of its employees, customers, contractors, clients and the society.
The system is applied in all contracts and is intended to contribute and enhance project performance.
The HSEMS ensures compliance with company procedure and provides safety orientation and training of all personnel prior to commencement of work on site. The purpose of the system is to establish an efficient and disciplined organization that is responsible and accountable for all aspects of related works.
Professional expertise is emphasized in safety supervision with the scheduling of daily and weekly progress meetings to ensure all preventive measures are being strictly applied. Project HSE Plans are developed on award of projects and risk assessments are carried out prior to the commencement of each activity to eliminate potential hazards.
